No! CloudLase includes a built-in real-time simulator so you can design and preview laser shows entirely in your browser. When you're ready to project, connect any supported ILDA hardware.

CloudLase currently supports EtherDream (USB/Ethernet) and IDN (ILDA Digital Network) DACs. More hardware support is on the roadmap.

Download the CloudLase app for your platform (macOS, Windows, or Linux). It runs a lightweight local server and opens the design interface in your browser. All your designs, hardware communication, and laser output are handled locally on your machine.

Absolutely. The Live Canvas mode lets you draw freehand and stream directly to hardware in real-time. Combined with audio-reactive effects, it's built for live shows.
